The picture above is Onyeke Secondary School, Onyeke, Okpe LGA in Delta State. Onyeke Secondary school is one of several schools where we are implementing our PUBLIC PRIVATE SCHOOLS PROJECT.

Like most of these schools, 20% of the children are either seating on the floor or standing during classes. Another 20% are hanging out in the premises and forming dangerous gangs on the pretext that the school has failed to provide them with seats and writing tables.

This is really making our work difficult. A custom made writing table and chair with capacity to sit 3 pupils cost N8,100.00. That averages N2,700 to provide a writing seat and table for one child. We currently need 100 such writing tables and chairs in various schools where we currently work and are looking for persons who can help support this project.
