The Tunde Ekpekurede Foundation (TEF) is a non-profit organization, formally incorporated in 2014 as a registered trustee in Nigeria. The Foundation was set up to carry out activities aimed at alleviating economic poverty, and to empower, inspire and motivate the citizenry.
Tunde Ekpekurede Foundation (TEF) is committed to providing and promoting quality and equal access to education for disadvantaged children in indigent communities in Nigeria as well as implementing economic empowerment programs for disadvantaged and unemployed persons. A key driver of many of these initiatives is the belief that overall economic prosperity of nations, organizations and individuals can only improve when economically disadvantaged people are empowered to be productive.
Tunde Ekpekurede Foundation actively pursues early stage intervention in indigent families, communities and schools with the aim to drastically reduce economic disempowerment of adults.
In March 2017, the Delta State Government officially approved Tunde Ekpekurede Foundation inspirational method of social intervention in its public schools under a PPP arrangement provided this is 100% funded by the Foundation. Consequently, the foundation now has over 1200 kids under its mentorship program, is providing subjects experts to fill up gaps in public schools, providing writing desks and chairs for poor kids, providing meals, uniforms, food and shelter to severely malnourished children and supporting teachers, community associations and parents for the education of children.
The foundation launched the Next Generation Academy, an interventionist educational program that seeks to break the cycle of poverty among generations of poor and disadvantaged families. This four week program exposes students to quality instructional materials with course content centering mainly on entrepreneurship and leadership.
The organization is currently organizing an Early Childhood Education Program for kids in Sapele, Delta State.

The Tunde Ekpekurede Foundation is committed to impacting the lives of the disadvantaged by providing and promoting quality and equal education in indigent communities in Nigeria, implementing economic empowerment programs. The Foundation also exists to promote, organize, participate and collaborate in social enterprises aimed to significantly transform idle, underutilized and neglected human capital assets to productive, prosperous, engaged, aspiring and empowered persons in Nigeria.
