Franca Akue is the Principal Partner of Dominion Chambers. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1989 as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Franca started her law career with the Nigerian Army Legal services. She joined the legal department of Commercial Bank (Credit Lyonnais) Nigeria Limited in 1992, from there she moved to First Fortune Finance as Acting Company Secretary and Head of Administration. Franca joined PAC Solicitors in 2003 where she rose to become a Partner. Franca has attended several training courses and Seminars on Law, Banking, Management and Leadership. She holds a postgraduate qualification in Intellectual Property Law and a Masters in Business Law from Leicester De Montfort Law School, UK. Franca has vast experience and core competencies in Legal Risk Management, Corporate/Commercial Law, Information Technology Law/Software licensing and Protection, and Intellectual Property Law, Contract Administration and Corporate Governance. She has authored two Books and currently serves on the Board of Mind Foundation. Franca is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), and is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission [SEC] to operate as a Solicitor in the Nigerian Capital Market.
